Alex Urias

Hi, I’m Alex! I grew up in Los Angeles, California, and later moved to Austin, Texas, where I spent about ten years building my career in property management, primarily working in affordable housing. That experience gave me the opportunity to work closely with residents and communities while learning the operational and financial side of managing properties.

In 2024, I moved to the Champaign–Urbana area with my partner and our dog and have been enjoying getting to know a new community. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and hold an Illinois Leasing License, which has helped me better serve a wide range of residents.

As I continue to grow in my career, I’m focusing on expanding my skills in accounting and bookkeeping. I’m especially interested in applying my background in housing and property management to the financial side of the industry.
